Mizzou not getting A&M treatment

When A&M was announced to join they got a ton of crap. Now I understand A&M has their yall boys instead of actual female cheerleaders. But still, why is Mizzou not getting ragged like A&M did?

Question, do you know anything about A&M besides the fact that they have yell leaders? If you did, this would not be a necessary thread.

Yea I read just about every thread discussing their odd traditions. I think no matter what team comes in they should get some sort of "hazing". I dont want to galdly accept anyone into the SEC. We are the best conference in the nation. Nobody should walk in and be welcome. They will take their beating on the field next year. Just curious why nobody on here is talking trash. Everybody seems to be all happy about it.

I agree. I guess the thought would be that the conference was already watered down by the addition of A&M, so it doesn't matter as much anymore.

Yea that is kinda what I figured. Hate seeing all these changes but it is almost necessary with all the other conferences adding.

A&M was the big prize with the TV sets and entry to Texas. Mizzou is there to even out the conference, and pretty wimmens... St. Louis and KC TV markets are nice bonus.
Both will make excellent doormats in the SEC for years to come so everyone should be happy.

Because A&M broke the seal.
We are all resigned to having a #14, and don't really give a shite anymore.
Most hated on A&M because there was still hope that we might not have expansion.

Mizzou left because it saw the benefits. Texas' little brother left because they were jealous and couldn't deal with over a hundred years of being 2nd best. A&M leaving was petty and frankly, pathetic. UT's shadow goes way beyond the big 12 boys. Good luck competing with ole miss and vandy for worst team in the SEC.

No one is really sure what to make of the Mizzou fans yet.
Everyone is sorta confused what a Mizzou actually is and what it is about.
Once we start to figure it out, I am sure we will respond appropriately.

T-shirt fan, lol, again? Actually, born and raised by 2 UT grads, accepted to LSU for fall 2012 semester. Live in the now but never forget where you came from, just because loyalty is something the show me state lacks, doesn't mean I can love my past and tradition with my family while loving what I start as an adult on my own. Typical Mizzou clown, the longhorns will miss the guaranteed victory over you guys. Have a good one.
