I hope so as well. Huge market here in NC and no one else really cares about college football.

unc aint leaving duke. Plus, arent they in line to get prison raped by the ncaa? I cant see us taking a team who's fan support is tenuous at best, especially if they are about to get sanctions.

I doubt UNC and Maryland will happen, although it would be nice to say Maryland's badass jerseys every week. I wouldn't mind adding VT or Mizzou, but I feel both of those teams are good teams every year that lose the big game, which in the SEC means all of them.

No way in hell UNC happens. They are ACC legends / basketball is important there(UNC/ACC). I can imagine Kentucky throwing a fuss about this.

Mizzou. In an effort to get the deal done, i do not mind them. But I can imagine them jumping from the SEC to the Big Ten once they begin to look at expansion.

VA Tech : makes alot of sense. but people say they cant do it because fo UVA. That being said, if the SEC were to go to 16 then go get both UVA and Va Tech. Charlottesville is a great place to watch a football game.

MAryland. The destination would be nice. But nothing excites me about them.

You just want to keep playing against Gary Crowton's offense, don't you?

I've seen Maryland's football stadium, it's nothing impressive. Their basketball arena is very nice from the outside (pretty new). UNC ain't happening (would be awesome to get them though). I think if the SEC goes to 14, it'll be Va Tech (which really doesn't excite me). Mizzou doesn't excite me either.

No way UNC would join the SEC. They along with Duke, Wake, UVA, and NC State would stay in a smaller or lesser ACC before joing the SEC. MD would go to the big ten before the SEC due to academics and it does border PA.

The ACC would take Syracuse or Pitt or Rurgers if VA Tech or FSU or Miami left and or maybe UCONN.

I agree with you that it will probably be Va Tech, which is a good thing for the SEC. They are a solid program and are tough enough to give us as boost in the polls but are not tough enough to threaten the traditional powers of the SEC.

I'm not sure that makes the SEC better
How hard do they want to make the conference?
