with TAMU joining the SEC, and the west, the SEC needs to make some moves to balance out the east and the west. Heck they got 3 teams in the West that could be BCS contenders, and in the east, not one. IMO, i understand Vanderbilt and UK bring us a help in basketball, baseball, and academics, but man they hurt us in football. That's basically a cake walk for everyone in the East. There are not cake walks in the west. IMO, we should drop Vandy and UK, and pick up FSU, VT, and and add GT/Miami

It's not about traditional powers in any sport. It's about households. VA Tech opens up the DC/Baltimore market. The SEC will jump on that very quickly.

Oh and just sayin, but the SEC will never ask an original member to leave.
