Kendal Briles - OC Baylor
Darin Hinshaw - OC Cincinatti
Chip Lindsey - OC USM

I like the idea in your thread title to keep those guys. Them recruiting is the only chance for a smooth transition when we will inevitably need to fire Miles. And Les will have no excuse for offensive ineptness.

we should probably promote O to DC anyway, it might be the only way we keep him. i could give a frick if hes never called a game, i still trust him more than Steele

Give me Pep Hamilton or Clay Helton.
Add a clause to their contract that gives them total control over offensive play-calling during a game.

Why do y'all have some bizarre fascination with frank Wilson? Guy is a fantastic recruiter/running backs coach, but I see this board littered with posts wanting him to be oc/head coach. Do you hold jabbar jaluke/burton burns in the same regard? They do the exact same thing.

He has called a defense before. He was his own defensive coordinator at Ole Miss in 2005. It wasn't pretty.
