Word out of Knoxville is Tommy Moffitt is supposed to meet

With Dooley Wednesday in Knoxville about the vacant S&C job since Bennie Wylie left and went to Texas..I know folks at LSU love Moffitt and his wife is from Louisiana..But he and Dooley are apparently pretty tight and he wants to talk..Do you guys think he will leave Baton Rouge?

he's turned down the UT job multiple teams before. we'll see.

Apparently his wife has family there so it is a good fit for them, according to what I've read here.

Tommy's family is from Tenn. Jills parents live in NOLA.

Obviously, LSU is a much better place to be right now. That being said, I could see him leaving if him and Dooley are really that close.

do you know he has actually coached at Tenn before?

Why would Miles leaving affect his decision? The guy who hired him left, and that didn't affect his decision at all.

Miles decision shouldn't have much of an effect. Moffitt has a separate contract with the university.

Moffitt was at Ut before he was at LSU, so it wouldn't be a huge shock

I know Moffitt is the best. One would have to think he's taught enough guys how do run his program while he's been at LSU.
