Kiffin is going to leave Bama and Saban doesn't seem too upset about it...why not offer sark and if kiffin leaves then Bama is searching for what's left over

It'd be an excellent idea...

Which is why Alleva won't entertain it.

Do we really know if Sark is in the approrpiate mental position to have that type of responsibility right now?

i agree with this. If we want a guy for more than 1 season, Sark is further away from a HC gig than Freshwater. Both have baggage and both are good playcallers.

Sark is a high risk recovering alcoholic. Do you think Coach O wants to put his future on a "recent" drunk? Also, do you remember when Sark and his pussy offense came to Tiger Stadium in 2011 and we beat them about 40 to 3. His offense was garbage.

Who says we aren't going after Sark?

IMO Kiffin and Sark are both coming to LSU.

Just a hunch... there's obviously something going on with reports out of Bama that neither Kiffin or Sark will be back. And then the reports out of Bama that Sark fell off the wagon.

Almost like Bama found something out (them going to LSU) and now trying to slander them. Or getting ahead of the news and saying "we didn't want them anyway, they were both being let go."

Just going off all these strange reports and rumors, there's definitely more to the story going on behind the scenes.

The FAU stuff is strange too, because most reasonable people know there's no chance of Kiffin going there, so why all these bogus reports about it being a possibility?

Your theory about both coming is interesting? Who knows. Personally, I like Helfrich by a mile.

It would be nice to have both, but we shouldn't pay Sark much in that case.

I also thought the FAU thing was kind of a stretch.

After the Jimbo/Herman fiasco, I don't know what to believe anymore.

But I do think something with Bama/Kiffin/Sark smells funny.

Is Helfrich worthy tho? It just seems like his "success" at Oregon has Kelly written all over it. I think Chip Kelly's fart has dwindled in Oregon and thats why we saw what they were all about this year.

Issues with him falling off the wagon, I would think LSU and the proximity to New Orleans would not be conducive to a raging alcoholic. In Tuscaloosa, small town can't get in too much trouble, he goes to Atlanta and falls off the wagon BIG-TIME.

So what we know about Sark is that he is a raging alcoholic and loves to chase pussy so you want to bring him to LSU and New Orleans and hope it doesn't affect his work? Good luck with that!!!!

And in your opinion Jimbo was a "sure thing" too.

LOL at your support and interest in LSU football.

It's one thing to be in the middle of LSU HC search threads, I can understand that, but to also be in the middle of LSU OC threads should tell you something about yourself.

FWIW, when Bama is looking for an OC, just let me know who you guys hire. I can promise that I won't be in the middle of any Alabama OC search threads.

You are saying you think two Bama coaches will join L6U's staff idiot. Why wouldn't we be in this thread? Did you have this same hunch about Jimbo?
