No source. but I have a family member who dated a former player.. Ensminger would if asked but very content as he was. They were very confident it would be a hire outside Lsu for OC. And they called the O hire as u did. I can't say anymore. My sis would kill me

I don't doubt you know a person who is in a position to know things... perhaps a TAF booster. I gather from your postings that neither you, nor your "source," liked the Orgeron hire (neither did I) and you are predisposed to drawing the worst conclusions possible about his intentions. Perhaps your source is assuming that since Orgeron won't be able to hire Kiffin, he will consider Ensminger to be an acceptable choice. That is an assumption, not a fact.

Well, it makes sense to me because I figured out his source. Then if you go back and read his timeline it played out correctly. Jimbo's agent playing games first, then Herman's, then O getting the job.
I didn't like his style at the time either but that is the correct sequence of how things played out.
I still hold out hope that something else will be done regarding OC.

If you would have gone to boards from other fan bases, you would have seen people saying those same things. The SEC rant was talking about O being our permanent HC for months. Next this guy will be saying that Aranda is gone.
It's not hard to see what would anger our fan base and trolling us is very easy right now. We're all on pins and needles.

I wished Les would have hired him when he hired Aranda, and let him have complete control of the offense. Now Bama will be better next year with a soph QB and a better OC.
He solves our problem and sets Bama back big time. What more do you want in an OC hire?

Ensminger has told reporters multiple times that he doesn't want the OC job at all. I'm not saying he doesn't end up with it, because Alleva. But if he does, the OC search will have turned into 10 times the shitshow the HC "search" was. Alleva got O on the cheap so he could go out and hire the best coordinators you can overpay. If he settles on Ensminger, who again doesn't want the job, his stint as HC may be even shorter than the 3 years I'm predicting as of now.
