Saban is losing his defensive coordinator and his starting QB.
Just may be an opportunity to head to Texas

Chizik is a legit possibility.

No he's not. His defensive schemes are completely different than Saban's.

If anyone legit actually thought this, Kirby wouldn't be getting the keys to a Benz job like Georgia. Instead, he would be getting one of those 2 for 1 Kia deals.

Probably Pruitt. If he promoted from within it would be Mel Tucker

I actually don't think this is true. Saban himself said that Smart has total control of the defense. I think that many head coaches these days have so much on their plate that they don't get involved with a whole lot of the actual coaching of offense or defense. You have to trust your coordinators and let them do their jobs.

Saban is a gentleman and has a lot of class. Of course he wouldn't say this is true. He said the same about Muschamp but no one serious believes that. This doesn't mean Kirby won't be awesome, but he was not in charge of the Bama defense so it will not change at all.

exactly a no name coach who has never put on a headset could be saban's next DC and become one of the most sought after coaches in 4-5 years. funny how that works huh?
