Whats wrong with Ensminger?

Not saying he is my #1 or #2 choice, but if we dont get Kiffin or Briles or Canada.... what is wrong with Ensminger? It seems as though our offense is doing good under him and the players are now familiar with the system. If we decide to keep him, would it be that bad? If so, why?

So if LSU doesn't get 3 of a pool of 128 potential OC's (just in FBS), default to the guy you already have.

That he was around when dinosaurs Rome the earth. His next door neighbors were the flintstones and rubbles. Nothing against him, he's done a fine job when we were a tight pinch, but he is not the answer.

Did you happen to watch the ineptitude of the play calling against Bama and Florida?

How many other teams did Bama shutout? Did you see Florida score on Bama in the SEC championship game? Florida's offense may be worse than LSU's.

He's everything we don't need in an OC, he proved this by scoring 0 points against Bama and that awful performance against Florida. Awful.

This. Remember, he inherited this mess one-third into the season. Can't do anything earthshattering at that point. I think he did the best he could and it was pretty damned good.

He's definitely at the top of the list of the tier 2 candidates, if we miss on our first 2 I think he should get a shot.

Just because Ensminger is better than Cameron does not mean he is a great OC

But if we go cheap on our OC, we can go out and get the very best position coaches money can buy. We can have the highest paid OL, RB, QB, WR coaches in the country.
