Should LSU not use the same gauge to hire an OC?

How did Les decide he was the best hire?

I ask because whoever it was nailed it. Maybe they should decide on our OC

Aranda got top end results consistently with lower end talent. That doesn't exactly come along every year.

Is there not an OC equivalent to Aranda?

If Orgeron is smart, Dave Aranda has some input on this hire. Ask Aranda what OC would give him the most problems, then make a run at whoever it is.

He probably did ask Aranda.

Love this.

Have Aranda watch film on the OC candidates and see who he thinks is the most formidable foe.

He had wisky top 10 in defense two years in a row with shite players and everybody has a hard on for a guy whose offense was top 60 with equally shitty players.

If you want to use the doing more with less argument it's valid with aranda's work at wisky. Not sure about Canada

Notre Dame OC. Very young in his early 30s.

Aranda's defense at Wisconsin is better than anything Canada has ever produced. Aranda had a good defense with lesser talent while, Canada has an average offense with lesser talent.

Great thinking, and Aranda should, being Associate HC

I have not followed the Irish this year. What offense do they run?
