If he somehow makes a showing today and reminds us of why he is our guy, do we keep him? Talk is that he gets another year but I haven't heard what if he loses badly to the Texas necks. I don't see how he survives losing this one, even without the Jimbo package delivered. I get we got played but if Les loses are we just going to punt til next year like we are hearing?

Signed,
Your supportive fellow rival to your East

I respect the man and the coach, but we're ready for a change. A college team with top 5-8 talent with the most active players in the NFL should go to more than 3 BCS bowls in an 11 season timeframe.

Why can't y'all get a QB worth a shite? Can you imagine Chad Kelly with LSU talent surrounding him? If Ole Miss or Arkansas had you QB and you had their QB those are wins. Which brings us to the real problem: Bama. I ain't so sure they lose even with your QB.

In LSU's defense Arkansas has been blessed with a freakish amount of in state QB talent the last several years. Mallet, Wilson, and Allen (once he got over his case of the yips) all had big time talent.

If LSU had that group of QBs following one another (and an OC that can develop QB talent like Enos did for Allen) then we would be talking about Les as a QB guru.

If Chad Kelly was at LSU he'd suck just as bad.

We're a QB graveyard. It's not like we don't get talented or highly rated guys.

I love Coach Miles more than some of my family members.
He's brought emotion to the game, both good and bad.
I think he's a great guy and I'd give him a kidney.

That being said, I'm ready for LSU football to get back to the glory days.
I don't think we can get there with Coach Miles.
We need the fans support, some here would rather lose than be successful with Miles.

The majority of fans seem to be in support of Jimbo. So am I.
This program is greater than 1 person.
It's a team and needs a team effort.

I like Miles, and I'm really sad to see how things have played out.

When he hired Cam Cameron, I was really optimistic. Guess what: I shouldn't have been.

LSU QB's never look comfortable. I think they're all getting over-coached like crazy, especially at the college level.

they don't put them in the best position to succeed..

why is other teams around college football can be down to their 2nd and 3rd string qb and not miss a beat.. but LSU has trouble establishing one???

LSU gets guys ranked in the top 10 of qb in recruiting every year.. and it doesn't matter..

Les offered a QB from Oxford a few years ago who is now playing OL at Ole Miss. I question his scouting?

well yeah

LSU had no interest in Dak (local recruit) at QB and I think wanted to move him to defense..

which is why he went to St

and look at what he is doing

there's just not a good culture with Les and QBs.. it took mettenberger as a senior qb, 3rd year in the program here at LSU.. before they finally opened it up and he was good.. he wasn't that great his junior season.. but did have flashes.

but again Mett was a transfer.. not even an original recruit. we were fortunate he chose LSU.. which he chose LSU because there was such a need.. yet in 2011 championship game they left jordan jefferson out there.. even tho he couldn't do anything against bama.. they still had lee and mett.. but miles went down with his guy.. miles always goes down with his guy because he is stubborn.. just like his special teams coach right now is the worst.. but he won't fire the guy..

Did anyone else notice the hair color of Les in the interview on ESPN last night?
I think this whole thing got him feeling old and dyed his hair.

This is the Les I know.

No one needs to feel sorry for Miles. He has milked plenty of $ out of the LSU head coaching job.

We appreciate what he's done but it's time to let someone else lead the program.

What I don't agree with is how the situation has been handled. Even if there aren't great feelings for Miles, I do believe this could have been handled with more respect.

I wish Miles the best and look forward to the future of LSU football.

Even though the SEC West has more teams with national titles in the past 11 years than any other NCAA division. Think our fan base sets unrealistic goals.
