Well he supposedly loves lsu and baton Rouge. This is his shot, of he doesn't take it now he's never going to get the job again

Not that the admin is smart enough to do this, but the ultimate move would be to have Herman as the target, and a mutually beneficial agreement with Fisher to use him to get him some concessions from FSU and keep the attention of LSU fans and the media on a "developing deal with Fisher" so it doesn't undermine the actual deal happening with Herman.

If by being played you mean Fisher is using LSUs interest for more things he wants from FSU, then yes, I think so.

He's doing exactly what a person in his position should do and that's achieve maximum value. If LSU offers enough money he will come. That's the bottom line.

Either Herman or Jimbo will get paid a ton to coach LSU and be handed the keys to a ton of talent on offense and a top 10 defense.

Both are going to get paid a ton, but if I had to bet on Herman, Jimbo, or the field to be LSU's next HC, I'd take the field.

I don't think he's playing LSU. But if he doesn't come this year it will be his last chance. No one will want to hear his name again next time we are looking for someone.
