The emotional ones who actually go to games will be there no matter what. You don't pass up better, more proven options over the hometown favorite. The other fans who spend money and want to win titles are not going to stick around for that nonsense now.

The vast majority of fans agree that's Herman is choice A and Orgeron is choice B.

We?

You wish the seniors and declaring juniors would have lost so "we" don't have to deal with the aftermath?

You're a jack arse I will never wish for an LSU loss. Geez, there are players to consider. You're an arse. Your post deserves saying that twice.

The jackasses are the people calling for O to be head coach because it's a feel good story. It's an extremely short sighted and emotional response.

From the very beginning, I said that if Orgeron loses 2 games, we should first make both Fisher and Herman tell us no. At that point, Orgeron has my vote. That has not changed. Especially with how he has run our team during the past 2 months.

I think he's a good DL coach and a great recruiter. I also think he is a hell of a motivator which is exactly what we needed as an interim coach. But, I think rah rah coaches like O tend to get stale fairly quickly and then the adoring motivator becomes somewhat annoying.

I think coach O can and will get an opportunity to be a head coach, but I don't think he is qualified to be a coach at a top 10 program.

ok that's fine if that's how you feel. But just tell me who you would want if Fisher and Herman fall through? Because no matter what, at that point you are taking a huge risk with any hire.

Was it the emotional fans last year, or was it politicians balking at spending money on a football coach when the state is broke? (Knowing the average Louisiana resident wil never understand the football coach isn't paid with tax dollars)

Agreed. It's why 92% of our fans will never - and must never - be CEO'a.
