Can't think of a better fit.
The Muschamp in waiting stuff made me cringe at the time. Good guy and great defensive mind. Not the best fit for Texas HC.

Well, things change, I guess. I think his plan was to sit out for longer than this, but he didn't expect Tressel to get canned.

Taking the Texas job makes sense to me. Urban is a spread offense guy and Texas already has spread offense personnel. tOSU may face sanctions that may slow down the rebuilding that will occur as the team transitions to a spread offense. Also, no one can outbid the Longhorns in CFB.
