From radio in Jacksonville, fl that foley is on his way back to Gainesville withOUT Jim mcElwain. Stated negotiations are ongoing and the sticking point is McElwain's buyout is $7.5 million and UF only wants to pay $3 million plus UF play Colorado St in Colorado.

Seeing as how little time florida wasted in targeting Mac I wouldn't think a few million would stop them from making the hire.

It would be nice to see a school tell a coach that these buyouts are a two-way street, and demand that if Jim wants to head to Florida, they will be looking for him to pony up the $7.5 million they agreed to when he was hired.

According to reports, the buyout was only agreed to under the conditions that it could be lowered for him to go to a 'dream school'. Ultimately, if we have to pay the full amount I'm assuming we would, but Foley will try to work it down as much as he can.

There is also talk of another flight that will be leaving Ft. Collins for Birmingham, some speculation it is to pick up his kids.

Nothing on FlightAware about that but that doesn't mean it isn't true.
