Wilbur Marshall traded for two first round picks: Trace Armstrong and Wendell Davis. Herman is a lock.

He's pretty adamant that Herman will not be at LSU. Apparently it's Texas or Houston, and more to do with wanting to stay in Texas in general. It's pretty apparent that his connections are through CAA, based on saying the only time he had LSU info was the Saban era (Sexton). It's disconcerting, but then you read from Texas people that the word from the same agency sources that Herman could be headed to LSU. We'll see. I personally still have a suspicion that plan Jimbo is still in effect... on both sides.

The only thing is that Jimbo is in the CAA as well. If Grateful Tiger has connections to the CAA, he has said nothing about Jimbo. He did post some stuff about Saban when the coaching search had just begun, but hasn't said much about him in awhile. He wasn't saying we had a good shot or anything, he just said that Saban has a best friend that's a LSU booster. There's zero chance of that happening obviously. He seems to want us to sign O. I'm not sure how I feel about Grateful Tiger's thoughts really. They're all over the place except that he's adamant that Herman is not coming.

I like what this guy has to say.....

quote:

Herman + LSU = End of Saban's reign The potential for a Herman offense at LSU is off the charts and would be so immediately. LSU was working this well before Miles was let go. I don't know if its true or not, but what I know to be true is Herman at LSU would be a national championship factory. This contact is seldom wrong though.
