Rumors is he could be close to taking the Florida DC job. Sorry no link, but its on a Florida board.
He is the main recruiter for alot of Bama's recruits.

No. it is widely speculated by paranoid LSU fans that Bama was spreading those rumors. What isn't widely assumed by LSU fans is that perhaps he was considering other offers all along and LSU gave him a raise and extension (announced today) to keep him from leaving. One seems logical and one seems obsessively paranoid. You know deep down which is which.

By all accounts both are probably true. Bama was likely telling recruits this and negative recruiting( everyone does it ) and he was probably entertaining potential offers and exploring options ( again ever coach does this ) in the end being at home getting a raise and the right job or time for him to move up just wasn't there. But he will leave sooner rather than later.

Most probably this. It is a very good compliment to LSU that he stayed. He loves it in BR and is proud of what he has accomplished.

Nah. Very credible people have reported that it was just negative recruiting. If it makes you feel any better, bama wasn't the only school floating the rumors. Negative recruiting is an ugly part of the game and it's very real. Don't kid yourself.

NS has come out and said that he does not condone negative recruiting. So I think it was just a lie.

The Tosh to Bama rumors are on the paid websites as well. Op isn't pulling this out of no where. It originated on a Bama paid site and has caught on like wildfire on Florida and LSU boards.
