It's Tejas. They fart $6M and won't think twice about it. And if Herman beats Okie like he did at UH, even a 9-3 season will be justified.

Well, a lot of this is "LSU has gone cheap."

what does it matter? If they wanted to pay him 20mil a year that's up to them. Paying him that doesn't make him better than Meyer, it just means they feel he's a damn good coach and they're going to do what it takes to get him. They could be wrong

Lsu could jave easily paid him 8 mil per year and i wouldnt have cared, find a coach you think will be great and worry about the rest in a few years when other coaches pass him up in salary anyway

Urban Meyer was once hired by Florida from a non Power 5 conference school. I wouldn't say his accomplishments in 4 years as a head coach were far superior than Herman's two years.
