Before Nick Saban came to BR, did you ever hear of coach named Nick Saban? Answer honestly, please.

Herman is who I want for the job.

He could be one of the next great coaches.

Not coming. I have a good friend whose Son is going to Houston to play for him next year. The parents net face to face with him this week. His salary is 3 mil and he is staying.

He is waiting on the Texas job. He is perfect for the job. Very intelligent so he can play politics with the Texas higher ups, his offense is similar to the good old days with Young and McCoy, and he is a Big 12 fit moreso than an SEC fit.

He's only had a single season as the HC and its not like Houston was lacking in talent or has a really tough schedule. That is the one thing that would greatly worry me.

If you looked up my posts on here during the offseason, I knew he would have instant success because that team already had all the pieces he needs. People need to watch Greg Ward Jr's highlights from last year. When he finally started he went 6-2. He is pretty much Trevone Boykin.

Herman has had one year of HC. Saban went 9-2 at Toledo, THEN spent 5-6 years in the Big 10 facing real competition before he came to LSU. He already knew what it was like to play against the Big boys. Who has Houston played against, Louisville, Navy, Memphis???? He had a ready made team at Houston with a heisman level QB that just needed experience and the right system. You also don't have to play much defense at the lower levels either because mostly everybody focuses on tons and tons of offense.

And what's all this talk of killing recruiting in Texas? His one big pull this year was Oliver and only because he is connected previously with several other people there.
