I'm telling y'all Tom Herman will be the next coach

Coach Herman? Which fish personality best describes you? Shark, dolphin, whale, or urchin? I'll hang up and listen.

We need to get that guy.
I love Coach O, but reality is I can't see Coach O being better than Miles in the win column. I can see Herman pushing LSU back to the 2003, 2007, or 2011 level.

Good interview.
I'm staying out of the "next HC" debate until the Tiger's season is over.
Lets stomp a new hole in Ole Miss' a$$ this Saturday.

You guys are gonna be so mad when you see O get the head coaching job. Texas will out bid us.

What a difference the interviews will be going from Miles to this guy if we can pick him up. Not used to hearing intellectual shite come out of our coach's mouth. Actually, Coach O's interviews have a surprising amount of stats included in them. You can tell he prepares for them and tries to sound knowledgeable.

He will be the next coach at Ohio St. whenever that job becomes available. He is from Ohio and is an Urban Meyer disciple. He may come here but will leave when the above happens.

I want him at LSU so badly. He is a perfect fit. The whole package. He is balanced, intelligent and can actually hold a conversation that is not embarrassi or confusing.
Dear Santa, I want Tom Herman at LSU.

I don't think having an option between Coach O and Herman is a bad situation to be in. I like both coaches and think they will both do well. Yes Herman would be my first choice but that doesn't mean coach O isn't a great viable option to have.
With Herman you have a coach that is young and climbing and if he goes to LSU he will eventually go to the NFL. We've been here before with Saban, I would rather Texas get him for a few years and let him win a title and go to NFL, meanwhile we let Coach O do his thing until Herman realizes he can't make it in the NFL and comes back to LSU and creates a dynasty!

There is more money and opportunity in the SECW for a dynasty, having beaten Saban, Stoops, Fisher. Why would he want to go to the NFL when he runs a more exciting brand of football and can have more autonomy and job security? He loves recruiting and knows the State of Texas and he likes molding young men in better students, husbands, fathers, and people.
His training camp is harder and smarter than any in football and he is young enough to be hip and connected with them. He dives into their lives, knows every detail, and he is a very demanding hard arse who locks them all out of the facilities when any one of them let any teammate slip up. He hires psychologists to get them to talk like "dudes" with lots of expletives. He teaches them to hit harder and be more physical than 4 and 5 star players. He had 1 soft tissue injury because he personally checks each of their water bottles and watches them personally drink the required amount of fluids. Their days begin at 4:30 and they are mapped out all day with a 3 hour sleep break midday.
“On any deep ball, I tell the quarterback, ‘If the defender is even or on top of your receiver when you are ready to throw, then you can throw a paint ball,’” Herman said. “We don’t ever talk about shoulders, because when the media and TV people talk like to say, ‘It’s a back shoulder throw,’ because that’s usually where the guy catches it. But he catches it there, because we’re aiming at his helmet. He tell (the quarterback) we want to scrape the paint off the top of his helmet.
“I tell the quarterbacks all the time, ‘one-on-one is not covered.’ There’s no such thing as ‘covered’ when it’s one-on-one, because timing and ball-placement win every time. They win every time.”

The Big 12 is living on borrowed time. They do not have the equivalent of an SECCG because they do not have 2 divisions. They don't have the SECN and the huge revenue sharing that increases every year. They don't have a possibility of 2 teams in same Conference going to the Play Off.
