The Way We Hear It, the Pegulas have been in conversations for some time now with Tom Coughlin, and Coughlin is the front-runner to be the next head coach of the Bills following this season.

Reports of the Bills owners’ interest in Coughlin date back to last summer, and our sources are telling us that conversations began again a few weeks ago and that the interest is mutual.

Let's see how a 70 year old Couglin does without Mark Brunell or Eli at QB in a division with the Patriots. Poor Bills

I don't get NFL coaching hires at all. They seem to recycle these dudes over and over until they finally decided to go with an absolute no name.

Him with the Jags makes perfect sense. He would be their best option.

Bills especially seem to be fascinated with NYC retreads.

Why would he go to Buffalo over Jacksonville?

Even worse is the backdoor job the Bills would encounter in the playoff game.

Can't be any worse than Rex Ryan. Hopefully Ryan will run out of chances as a head coach. The guy is garbage.

Seems like you understand it completely because that is exactly what they do.

He's also rumored to be taking an executive position with the Jags, possibly VP of Football Operations.

If that's in reference to Coughlin himself he is extremely familiar with Jacksonville. He was the first coach in the team's history and is still active here with his Jay Fund, which does incredible things for the families of sick children.

I would love to see him come back as coach for a four or five year run.
