O'Brien can coach QBs (he made Hackenberg look decent)
He can coach an offense, but just doesn't appear to have it in the NFL like Saban.

He is fiery and isn't afraid of a challenge.

I say he should be called before losers like Fedora, Randy Edsall, Dan Mullen, Kiffin, Mora Jr.,Pelini etc.

The list should be in this order (some debate at the top)

1. Herman
2. Petrino (if we can afford buyout)
3. Chip Kelly
4. Jimbo
5. Bill O'Brien

Why would he leave the Texans?

He is at the pinnacle of his profession. What are some of you people thinking?

Maybe they fire him. He's not exactly setting the world on fire.

See Saban, Nick.

They're 2-1 and the AFC South is garbage. They aren't firing him if they win the division and even then it would take a 6-10 or worse for it to even be on the table I think

Just saying that the only reason he isn't losing more is because of the cluster frick of a division he's in.
