A guy named Nick Saban was hired! He was a loser and mid tier coach after all according to his record.

Lol what? Saban turned Sparty around, they were having losing records and had sanctions when he arrived. He made a bowl every year and beat #1 Ohio State in Columbus.

Are you seriously a retard? A quick google would have shown that Saban didn't have a losing record you dumb mongoose fricking pervert.

His record was 43-26-1. Does that sound like a losing record to you you dumb frick?

Saban had never suffered a losing season as a HC. O has only suffered losing seasons. Shut your hole.

You're right, Nick Saban and Ed O are just alike. You have changed my point if view and I expect atleast 2 championships.

Same with Jimbo and Herman.

That was one point of emphasis, for sure. He was beaten like a drum that day.

The other was that Saban had spun his wheels at Michigan State until his final year there (and there were rumblings he was going to be fired if they didn't produce that year).

A widespread opinion was that we'd paid top dollar for a coach with one fluke good year on his resume

Hell NO he wasn't.second tier. he won at Michigan State with lesser talent and people knew what he was that were in the no.
I have a lot of first hand knowledge of how that went down.
