if Kiffin gave O positive confirmation at the time, and the decision makers were convinced of it being a sure thing, then that's not hard to believe.
O was hired bc he presented that as a plan and they signed off on that.

Because I don't believe that O has one person in mind. O is in charge of bringing in an OC. Not Alleva. But you're jaded and your endless sweet binder and Cajun jokes haven't gotten old so there's no getting you to see anything differently. You don't want to believe that there's a backup plan.
I'm sorry but if you and I, message board Joe knows there's a possibility that Kiffin could be a HC somewhere, so does the HC. (I'm not talking about Alleva. It's not his job to find an OC). Shea and Sonny has said they have a few names in mind. You've seen that. But I guess you conveniently forget about things like that like everyone here knows that Ensminger has flat out said no to the OC position but keep laying it out there like it's going to happen.
It's old. It's tired. Get over it and off your high horse and let things play out. Just because you haven't heard any news doesn't mean things aren't happening behind the scenes.

Unless you are on O's staff, or work with Joe Aleva, you in all honesty, have no idea who they are talking to for OC, or really who they even have on their prioritized list for the OC position.
