The coaching posibilities have already become ridiculous.

It's going to be a long season.

quote:

During the initial, exploratory phase, we are told to expect LSU, through representatives, to gauge the interest of some of the top coaches in college football, including Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Bob Stoops, Jimbo Fisher and Tom Herman. Right or wrong, sources tell FootballScoop that LSU believes they will be able to attract a coach of that caliber.”

Make them say no. What is the worst that could happen, they stay at their respective school? What is Alabama never offered Saban because he might say no. Ditto CUM at OSU. If they say no...next. Have some confidence and some balls!

They use the LSU job to get raises at their own schools, turn us down everyone is wondering why no one wants to go to LSU. Job becomes less and less attractive with every "no thank you"

When you kick in a 4.6 million (and that is just what Miles made) it will open up a lot of possibilities.

I would hope they would've started the search a couple of weeks ago and got some positive feedback before pulling the trigger on Miles.

Urban Meyer

I'm sure he's already having chest pains with his name being mentioned in the conversation of a SEC coaching search.

Urban and Saban? It's not...maybe we can get Saban as HC and Urban as OC.

Like I said, it's going to be a long season.

You immediately offer Saban $1mil more than he is currently making.

If he says yes, process over. Even if he isn't interested, Bama has to give him a raise.Win win. Move on to next candidate.

I don't want Saban back.

I want someone who will come to LSU and beat him.

I'd rather see LSU go 4-6 against Saban over the next 10 than just have Saban return. I'd like to see LSU beat the best, not steal their power.

Tom Herman
Chris Petersen
Chip Kelly

Those are my favorites.

Dan Mullen, Jeff Brohm, or a defense coach with Kendal Briles as OC are in my next group.
