Straight to SEC Position Coach from College Graduate? Has that happened before?

There's a rumor that Marcus Lattimore may be SC's RB Coach next year. Lattimore graduates in January and would be technically eligible to be a position coach. He did have a brief stint in the NFL, but retired at the ripe age of 23, he's 24 years old now.
2 questions:
Who was the youngest Position Coach ever in the SEC (or that you can remember from your team?)
Is there any other guy who went straight from graduating college to becoming a SEC Position Coach?
(so never was at least a GA or QC before that even.)

Some of the original head coaches were still players so I would imagine they were younger. I can't think of anyone for UGA that's come from a GA to position coach. Usually they head to a Jacksonville State type school to cut their teeth.

He'll probably become a GA somewhere, maybe SC. I can't imagine this actually going down.

I have absolutely no idea to the answer from an SEC standpoint.
I know Lincoln Riley is a hot up and comer and quite young so I looked up his bio. He became TT's WR coach at age 24. ECU's OC at age 28 (geez!)

Rumor being the optimal word. I would imagine he'd have either a GA role, or an operational role on the staff before diving into a positional role considering Muschamp needs all hands on deck to get SC moving in right direction. He can't waste a positional coaching role on someone who A) has no coaching experience and B) has no recruiting experience.
If Muschamp gets the job, Latt would have a role but not position coach until year 2 or 3, IMO.

When Saban hired Major Applewhite as OC in 2007, Applewhite was 27

Yeah he's had an impressive career trajectory. I thought he would've been a home run for USC but they went with Muschamp.

Bryan McClendon for UGA was pretty close to it. GA for 2 years then became RBs coach. Was 25 I believe when he took over.

The older I get, the younger the younger the assistant coaches seem. I specifically remember when both Applewhite and Bobo were hired, I was thinking, "Didn't those guys JUST graduate?" I guess it seems that way (same with Lattimore) because they had notable college careers but didn't go pro.
As to your question, I'd be very surprised if anybody in the modern era has gone straight to being a position coach without at least serving as a GA, especially in the SEC.

All the more reason that Muschamp shouldn't be yalls coach.

this says more about what a RB coach is than anything else
RB coaches are typically glorified recruiters
