A behavior risk, to be sure.

If he could stay off the sauce, could be a solid hire at HC.

Thoughts?

Hypothetically speaking, as no opening exists at LSU.

No way another big name program takes a flyer on this dude.

He will need to re-prove himself at a lower level again.

An alcoholic in south Louisiana in a high pressure job seems like a bad idea.

HC? No. Too many risks and LSU can do better, IMO.

As an OC, though? Sark is the type of coordinator who could fundamentally transform the LSU offense for the better... (assuming Miles allowed him to run the offense, of course.)

Sark is a man in recovery. He'll need time to get his head on straight.*

*ETA - Before he could be a head coach again, I should say.

Not a head coach, but honestly, I would probably welcome Sark as an offensive coordinator. He is a perfect fit.

No. Been very average as an HC.

If we are going to get rid of Les, we should aim at someone better. Jimbo would be the best choice. Still wished we hired him in 2005.

I would open a private brew-thru solely for the benefit of the Sark.

Sure.

Lets hire a guy that got fired for coming into work drunk to coach in a state that has drive thru daquiri and liquor stores. What could possibly go wrong.

I don't know that Sark would be a 'perfect fit' for LSU, but I imagine a Pac-10 'pro-style' offense could be successful in the SEC.

A USC or Stanford style offense would be very effective with the type of talent LSU has.

Stanford style offense

Stanford's style of offense under David Shaw has been absolutely awful to watch. Way more conservative than Les.

I haven't watched Stanford very much in the past year or two. I remember a run-based offense that was more dynamic than what Miles has used since '09, with the exception of '13.

Even though it was a mess this year, I loved what Pep Hamilton was doing with the Colts offense.

Would Miles and the gang be okay with adding non-alcoholic booze to their cookout mix?
