Said he wasn't retiring. He can get a million and free green fees to all Louisiana courses when not at practice. Can coach talent.

Hire Spurrier as OC, then get Rob Ryan as DC. Call the '16 LSU Tigers the "All-Presser" team.

Les Miles - HC
Steve Spurrier - OC
Rob Ryan - DC

TV ratings would be through the roof as LSU sputtered to a 10-3 season.

Spurrier will be an OC at a Florida high school before he is at LSU.

I legit had a dream last night that this happened. If it really did happen I think it'd be a great hire. But that's just a pipe dream.

Could you imagine the press conferences those two would give????

You are crazy if you think Spurrier's ego would allow him to be an OC

His ego is the reason he insisted on using the term resigning instead of retiring.

That and he said he could possibly coach at the high school level

Spurrier would never work under someone like Les.

Spurrier has said that he's interested in staying at Carolina in an "ambassador" position. Only pays $100k per year, but he told Tanner he wanted to talk after his official paid tenure as HC is up at the end of this year. His wife graduates from Carolina in November and evidently does not want to leave Cola.

I'm not in favor of him staying in any capacity. Whatever coach we hire is already going to have to fight against the shadow of Spurrier...still having him employed in any capacity would make that even more difficult IMO...and the job a helluvalot harder to sell to potential hires.
