Still think he has that fire that used to?

If we need a coach... we can do better than him.

Dude he is at SC. SC has a below .500 all time winning percentage. They haven't won 9 games since 1984.

yea better than one of the best coaches of all time.

IMHO, Spurrier is tired of SC. The whole schollie thing and the fact that he couldn't get it done. I think he's tired of it. Hed be happy at LSU, but I want Tubby.

2005 - 5 sec wins
2006 - 3 sec wins
2007 - 3 sec wins

So Vandy is more talented than SC? Cause Spurrier lost to them at home.

Fyi, my point isn't about who is better: Miles vs. Spurrier. I am saying that I don't think Spurrier has that fire that he used to. Watch his games and see if he is the same today that he was ten years ago. He isn't.

Give it to Muschamp. He's the most deserving on that list.

That's really not relevant, important, or even possible to know...

Miles is the coach at LSU, he's responsible for their record of 10-2.

Spurrier is the coach at SC, he's responsible for their record of 6-6.

It is what it is....PERIOD!

Love, may be a bit strong!

But I do think he's a stand up guy who has done a solid job of maintaining the program that Saban built.

While I'm as disappointed as anyone about the loss to Arkansas and have no problem setting lofty goals, I believe you have to keep it realistic.

Losing to Arkansas, a major bummer, no doubt.

An indication that our program is broken, I don't think so....And, if it's not broken, don't fix it!

I'm with you. I've watched him the past few years he has been at South Carolina and he doesn't have the fire he did 10 years ago. I think he just wants to coach a couple more years and then retire for good.

Spurrier is doing a great job with what he has. I believe at LSU he would be unstopable. Fact is Louisiana produces the most superior athletes in the country. I believe his name at LSU would bring some great recruits. Tubby is a great coach but I loath him. Spurrier and Coach O(offensive line coach) would be very interesting. Coach O needs to get away from those snobby asses, and Spurrier needs to come to BR and get us a championship.

Just like players get past their prime, so do coaches.

Spurrier is past his prime.
