Honestly don't know anything about him but no doubt a few notches above what we had.

I am impressed with Baxter's qualifications. He would be fine. Otherwise I am for Bobby April. Dandy Don (Scott) said he does not like to recruit but he is one of the best ST coaches out there, college or pro.

Every coach on our staff doesn't need to be a 5* recruiter. Jesus just kill it on ST. I still believe Jackson will be special on KO & punts, maybe try WR Dillon as well extremely fast.

Baxter looks pretty old in the picture. Can he hit the recruiting trail like BDP?

Well he was at Fresno St for over 12 years and since then has gone through head coaching changes at his stops.

Any truth to the rumor a couple days ago that Derek Dooley was in BR? That'd be a sexy STC hire.

As am I. I think he could be a West Coast recruiter for us. He was at Tulane for a couple of years, but that's his only recruiting gig that was centered on the South.

I would also be for Bobby April or Joe Rob. If Baxter is the choice, I'm more than fine with it - he has top notch coaching credentials.

IF they're really getting the band back together, Kennedy Polamalu is available right now, too. He was RB/ST during the glory years and OC during the Kiffin years.

Didn't Miles interview Baxter before he hired Peveto? I remember him being mentioned... at least on this board.
