Won't get his Auburn buy out if he takes the Southern Miss job.

Not sure he fits what Southern Miss is looking for plus he probably makes more at UGA than the 600-800k southern Miss can afford.

Kingsbury would be a perfect fit IMO.

Southern Miss fans LOVED Fedora and his outgoing personality and open offense.

So, I really didn't follow USM this year. What exactly was it with Ellis Johnson that made him such a failure and what is the program looking for in the new head coach?

Not disagreeing at all. I just selfishly want him to stay and see what he can do with JFF and the offense next season

He took a 12-2 CUSA championship team to a school worst 0-12 team.

He school is looking for an offensive minded HC who runs a spread offense who can bring fans to the stadium.

An Aggie poster in another thread said it doesn't matter bc Sumlin calls all of the plays.

They should definitely go after Kingsbury, I wouldn't have been too disappointed with him at UK if we had gotten a couple no's.

That is pretty terrible. Kind of a disgrace to the jobs Bower and Fedora did at the school.

Yeah, not sure if Bobo is the type of guy that will immediately pump life into the fanbase.

Kingsbury is like 25. I think he needs a little more time to learn how to run a team himself

That's not true. Whoever said that is incorrect.

I have total confidence that Sumlin would hire a good, qualified replacement if Kliff left. But KK calls the plays
