Okay...Chris Truax who played for LSU. Has coached around the Southland Conference. Of late he and his brother-in-law have been at Stephen F Austin. Brought them out of the doldrums. His father-in-law is Mike Duhon, LSU LB, who married a Lawton. The family supports LSU, McNeese, SFA, and now SLU which is Southeastern. Quite a football family.

SFA only won because of their Off Cord, Shannon Dawson who is now at West Virginia. SFA's defense was just average at best. He will get the job just because of the finnancial backing that comes with him.

He was the O-line coach. What does defense have anything to do with this thread? Chris is a good guy and would do a good job for the SLU. SFA also won because of their players not just coaching, what a stupid statement! A little Clinton homer action for Shannon Dawson I see.

A little Clinton homer action for Shannon Dawson I see.
Not a homer, Dawson is my cousin and i have heard for a while now that Truax will be the coach at SLU mainly because of the Lawton checking account.
He will do OK there but will never win the conference. I have heard that Truax does really want this job. As for the players on SFA teams the last couple years all they really had was a QB and 2 receivers. Did not have a running back worth two pinches of monkey shite. They cant run the ball once they get to the playoffs.
