Sounds like a "resign or you're fired" discussion was had so technically, Richt resigned. May stay on at UGA in some capacity.

Can't you all see the humor is this? All the uproar and furor over LSU firing Miles and Georgia firing Richt has flown under the radar. I didn't see any inkling of this happening...did anyone else?

Can also confirm this from a personal friend who is an asst AD at UGA, he told me last week while golfing that Richts dismissal was imminent after the Tech game, was also told that apparently boosters are still pissed about the Stafford teams did not do better than they did, damnit now thats a grudge lol
