Some coaches want various challenges and to right the ship at ND would be one that no one has done since Holtz.

while I agree, there is no reason he can't go to Notre Dame and win, and probably win big alot of the time

I dont see why, its his dream job and what more can he do at Fl if he wins a 3rd title? Coaches like him and Saban want challenges...Their very driven people...Plus no one could pay him as much as Notre Dame and he'd have instant credibility with players and fans... He's won where ever he's gone...

UM to ND would go down as the dumbest decision since, well:

"That little iceberg will never sink us."

And that catastrophe gave us more of Celine Dion whining in microphone.

Both Saban and Urban would both be dumb not to go to ND. ND is one of the few pinnacle positions in college football coaching. Can you imagine the athletes that would follow either one of them there? It would be a number one recruiting class every year. They already recruit effortlessly even with the crap they do for football now. Both of those ego maniacs would definitely want to solidify themselves as the coach that turned ND around into what it was. Book It! If they both turn this job down I will feel better about being an LSU fan because they are both idiots.

People were saying the same thing about ND in the mid 60s, and then again in the mid 80s. Like all great college programs, ND is one good coach away from being an annual contender.
