This has started to make its rounds on UF boards from "insiders" and now the Bama boards as well.

Great hire from a recruiting standpoint, but don't see him changing anything offensively.

Call it desparation, whatever you want, but he was awesome at Florida as a recruiter with Zook. Has been known as a good recruiter everywhere. McElwain doesn't need elite talent to win the East, he has proven that 2 straight years. However, it will be a lot easier with some nice talent as well.

Wasn't the rumor a while back both Locksley and Lupoi were headed to UF for co-coordinator jobs.

Should be easy for Locksley to get talent from the DMV area to go to UF.

Tosh already co-DC at Bama pal. Why leave for same title and less money elsewhere? You know Bama would pay whatever needed to keep him there.
