If this guy can get the Arizona Wildcats to contend for a spot in the Rose Bowl, he could do wonders at LSU and he is my guy if Les leaves.

1998 was the Offensive Coordinator at Tulane when they were undefeated and score 30+ points in all but two games.

Followed Tommy Bowden to Clemson and helped turn that program around before moving to W.V. as head coach.

Watching Brandon Harris play in the fourth quarter against Miss. State, I couldn't help but think about Pat White, who Rodriguez coached at West Virginia. Can you imagine what Rodriguez could do with the L.S.U. offense?

I can't help but get over how much he flopped when the pressure was on at Michigan. It's easy to win at Arizona when nobody expects anything out of your team. LSU is a different story

I would be okay with him if Les went to Michigan.

But Les is not going to Michigan.

Couldn't get Michigan to contend for shite.

We would have a great offense, and shite the bed on defense.

You do realize he was fired at Michigan don't you???. He's record was worst than hokes. But you want him because..........of his xbox offense?? And where has that got him?? That's right a low end pac 12 school. I see your point now I do.

IF

Huge if

If Miles left, Rodriguez has to be on the list. The type of talent Louisiana produces is perfect in his offensive system. Now, defense could be a concern. A good DC could get the job done. That said, if you score more, your defense is somewhat protected.

I just think you'd have to consider him for an interview.

Cut back on the punctuation, goat. Seems really condescending.

Actually, you may have the right amount of punctuation misdistributed.

So people want a coach who wins 80% of his games leave so that we can hire a guy that lost to Pitt with a chance to go to the national championship. AND got fired from Michigan.

The problem with these offenses are you score really fast which leaves your defense exposed to long drives which tire them out. And now your defense is Swiss cheese in the fourth quarter.

Nobody has said that in here. Contingencies is all.

He has won at West Virginia and Arizona. Made them better. Good recruiter and with the athletes he would get at LSU his offense would be lights out killer. Hire a good DC and we're set. Good enough for me.

Comparing Hoke and Rodriguez or even somehow implying that Hoke is a better HC than Rodriguez is quite silly.

Scoring touchdowns too fast is a really flimsy argument. If you score, they have to score to match you. What if you score in 3 plays and they go three and out? You score 6 plays later and lead 14-0? You go 3 and out and still lead 7-0?

You use the worst case as an argument against a more reasonable expectation.

So you think OSU and Michigan are comparable?

Is that what you think?

Michigan
Oklahoma State

same thing to Jizzamo311

He would be the #1 legit candidate that I think LSU could land.

I know Patterson, Jimbo. I think RR would come to LSU.

the thing is you don't always score

your 3 and outs are shorter
your 8 and outs are shorts.

All your drives are shorter whether you score or not.

Is it really that hard to read "if Miles leaves"?

What is LSU to do "if Miles leaves"? Disband the program?

Should RR be a candidate, again "if Miles leaves" then I say yes.

Points are more valuable than time of possession in every single game. No team has ever won for having more TOP. Just score, baby

Les just got beat 17-0 to Arkansas AND laid the biggest turd in NC history. What's your point?
