Realistic OC candidates - SIAP

Howdy Folks
New to the boards but made an account to start this discussion. For the most part LSU fans were hot on Jimbo Fisher based in large part to his QB coaching. Wouldn't it logically make sense to offer OC to Randy Sanders (FSU QB/Co-OC). The man has a SEC resume, and has been coaching the QBs with Jimbo for four years now. I'm kind of let down that Joe Alleva has once again overlooked a diamond in the rough hire. I have provided a link to coach Sanders biography below. I believe he is only paid $500,000 annually by FSU. Just my two cents, but I think this would be a cheap hire that would produce results. LSU is rolling the dice with a potential KIFFIN hire that would cost millions. Thoughts?

If I had to wager, I would guess Kiffin gets another HC gig if he and Saban are done.
Even if its Western Mich after the ball of energy Fleck moves along.
IMHO HC where you can make your own mark at a MAC is better than OC at Big State U. Tiffin needs to clean up his image. He's been HC Oakland Raiders, HC UTk (FAIL), USC FAIL-dump in the mid season and now Bama. He needs a HC gig. a lateral move to a slightly lower program is not going to help him long term.

Definitely a name I have not thought of at all. He coached Andre Woodson at UK and Jameis at FSU.. Has a lot of experience. Been a part of winning programs. I wouldn't totally hate it.

From what I have read Jimbo is a micro-manager. However, I found several comments from FSU players that indicate that Sanders plays a significant role in QB development and offensive play calling.
Despite the other posters comments, my point was to bring to light a potential OC candidate that is being overlooked. Financially it makes sense because the offer to Sanders would be half of what LSU would be have to Kiffin.

I like this post. imo, Kiffin is the worst OC we can get. sure, the man knows his offense and QB coaching, but he is a cancer and will destroy coach O.
