What do you think about Al Borges? I know he was at Auburn so I thought you'd have some insight.

He will do a good job. He turned Jason Campbell into a pro quarterback.

People are hoping we keep Denard but if not it will be Devin Gardner (RS Freshmen).

quite a few guys on here were hoping he wouldn't follow Hoke to Michigan... and that Les would hire him away.

Just sayin.

He can coach talent, @ Auburn his backfield had Jason Campbell, Ronnie Brown, &Cadillac. When those guys were gone the offense when down hill and he was out by 2007.

If he doesn't follow Hoke to UM, he will be at Tulane next year.

Apparently at the team meeting yesterday, there was talk about implementing some spread elements into the offense - which would be great for Denard and our chances of keeping him.

I think he's solid. He did a great job when he had a loaded backfield, but let's face it, only Crowton could have screwed that up. I don't think he's any sort of schematic genius or brilliant tactician, but he's simply a good, solid pro. It's a good hire, even if he won't blow your doors off.

I don't know, but he looks like he could hang with Friedgen in a sumo wrestling contest.
