What does Purdue want? They fired a coach who took them to two bowls in a row, including this year. Who do they think they are, ND?

Seems like a tough job to consistently win more than 8 games a year. It seems like they might be the 4th best job in their division.

If the Godaddy.com Bowl could become any more irrelevant, both teams don't have a coach. Should be a great matchup...

Hazell if nothing else brings competence and being to coach up players. Something Purdue has been missing for a long time. Marve could have been a star in the big 10 this year and they could've made a lot more noise then they did. Those that follow the B1G know that this is a big hire for them.

Meh. Hope underachieved with the team he had, but I don't know if he deserved the boot yet. Particularly in favor of a 2nd year head coach with one good year at Kent State under his belt.

We're talking about Purdue here. Yeah, Joe Tiller got them to a Rose Bowl, but even that was with 3 losses and they were largely mediocre until he retired. I don't know what their expectations are.
