I was doing only official openings and replacements of coaches who could leave.

LSU? I'll say LSU gets Herman if the job is open. No rebuild required, he could come in and win pretty quickly.

Les Miles would be available and I think he takes the year off.

If Les does get fired, he would be a legit target for Illinois and ISU. Not sure if he would want either job, but I think he could be successful enough at either place. Hell, even Ron Zook was able to have a couple of good years at Illinois. For all his faults, Miles is still a few pegs above the Zooker.

If LSU doesn't get Fisher and Mizzou doesn't have anything locked down, you can bet they will make a play for Fedora before they look at Herman.

That's the thing, I don't see Les settling for some mid level school like Illinois or the perennial loser in ISU. If USC came asking I think he would be dumb to say no, but Les is in his 60's, he's got what, 5 good years left?

I don't see him taking a drastic step down from LSU to Illinois or ISU. Now if Richt got fired? UGA? I think that would be interesting.
