it's as you expect it to be...

quote:

Louisville coach Bobby Petrino was asked about the LSU opening with Les Miles out during his weekly press conference Monday and reiterated his commitment to the Cards. "I'm not interested in going anywhere," Petrino said. "I'm very fortunate to be the head coach at the University of Louisville, very happy about that, very glad I have the support of our athletic director Tom Jurich. We feel like we've got everything going in the right direction. This is the job I want. This is where I'm going to be."

So that's Shaw and now Petrino who have publically turned down the LSU job?

Every coach with a job is going to say the same thing.

Every retard on the rant will take it as gospel.

Making it all too obvious that he wants the job. Stage 5 clinger territory. Its unbecoming.

They can't turn down a job that wasn't fricking offered.

And people still bring that up almost a decade later. Be prepared for the same treatment.

I like LSU's chance with Herman. I would say 50% at this point and the chance would go up if Petrino beats him in Nov.

Yup. A coach that is #4 in the country currently and has a top 5 matchup this week will say yes I am interested in the job. Please call me after the season

Fill in the blanks with any coach, school, and athletic director and you can use the same answer 15 times until the season is over...

THEN, we can start figuring out who is really interested... expecting a straight up answer from a coach on a current team is just fricking stupid on the fans' part

Bobby also quickly added, if someone could link me to the facebooks of all the girls working in the football ops building I may change my tune

It isn't their fault they don't want to live through months of uncertainty.

Ever coaching hire is a risk, and the there is fan anxiety tied to the process. Normally fans only have to deal with a few weeks of anxiety, while LSU fans will do this dance for months.

Lost me at "B level facilities". Is this guy smoking crack? LSU has arguably the finest facilities in America. Nobody in the SEC has a better set up than the Tigers.
