Positiger Pants = ON
when i started researching Canada, (you're welcome derek/tiger family) i noticed he and Narduzzi went back to their days as position coaches at Northern Illinois. (2000-2002)
Yes, coaches like to surround themselves with people they are familiar with and what not,but they also like to surround themselves with GOOD coaches, guys they can trust, especially a guy like Narduzzi in his first HC job at a school like Pitt which has a pretty good football tradition.
then you consider where their respective careers went:
Canada ends up as OC/QBs at Indiana (2007-10)
and then Wisconsin (2012)
during this whole time, Narduzzi is DC at Michigan State. Much like we worship Aranda, Narduzzi developed into one of the hottest DCs in america during this time. They faced each other over the years and Narduzzi must have seen something he liked.
I rate Narduzzi pretty highly, so his trust and interest in Canada says a lot to me. Hearing Aranda praise him was encouraging as well.
Hopefully this all works out for the best. Goebbels, if you're still with me, if we could go ahead and get that new ST on board stat, mmm yeah, that'd be great.
ETA- positiger pants are akin to skinny jeans, incomprehensibly comfortable. considering keeping them on for a time.

Do those pants come in men's size?

Barton Simmons said it well. What sells him on the hire is all the coaches that tell him how tough it is to gameplan against Canada's offenses.

Thanks i didn't see that. What ever happened to the S/OBUDan 2011 OC candidate Craig ver Steeg?

Narduzzi is a very good coach. Hopefully Canada learned some good things from him.

Should have just hired Narduzzi as HC.

Narduzzi loves Bielema's former OCs. He hired Jim Chaney and Matt Canada, and now is targeting, his buddy from their Michigan State days, Dan Enos.
