Oregon found their coach - likely Taggart

BREAKING: Heard from source w/ ties to UO ath dept, decision on new head football coach HAS been made & rumored to be current non-Power5 HC.
If so, our fan base will look like LSU's after Orgeron was picked.
ETA: a lot of chatter that it's Chip and some are saying non-power 5 HC fits the bill.

I am going to give him a fair chance. I like the idea of a young, charismatic African American that's rebuilt two schools.

Great coach and can recruit. Might need some time to restock talent on Oregon. Washington on the comeup can make that hard.

Burton is a former HC at Portland State that works for a local TV affiliate that covers the Ducks. He's as good as anyone.

Gotcha. Well I think you'll get nothing but positive feedback about the hire. I'm surprised with the choice, but he seems to be a really good coach

If true, I think this is a great hire. Of course time will tell, but I like it.
