Ok I get it; LSU has to use O as their last bit of Jimbo leverage

Jimbo has to know LSU will move on quickly without a quick answer and that they are so content with money saved and O subs out all of his decision making work to qualified parties. Herman leverage will be gone before we know it. Leak leak leak like crazy LSU

Think you're right. Herman is using us to leverage UT, so tomorrow's meet is a mutually beneficial smokescreen to buy time.

all part of the game. you can never look like you have all your eggs in one basket at any point. Alleva has actually played this well so far, IF that is what he's doing, which i believe it is, given we've heard nothing from FSU about offering jimbo a raise yet, which sexton would never pass up the chance for.

I think it's more of a PR cover like someone posted before. If the media thinks we're not giving O a fair shake, it's the public outcry from last year. IF Jimbo is already in, O is a moot point.
