I've given up all hope on that. There is no way we see a manager last longer than a year unless we go undefeated.

I'd take Roberto Di Matteo over Butch Jones.

Well would you sing to him in the 16th minute? Also, will you sing "frick off Buth Jones"?

It certainly is eye-opening.

I hate it when Arkansas fans are right.

Hard to get a good chant going with 50,000 empty seats.

I'm not sure about this hire. What does Dave Hart know that most of us don't know?

The claim that this guy or that guy won with the previous coaches players is always a bit over played. I actually think this is a good hire.

At least Chuckie's agent can now enjoy the holidays & not have to jet around the SEC to line up interviews anymore. And for Chuckie's sake, I hope the Goodwill stores in Tampa will take all his orange colored clothes.

Actuall he did worse in his first year at Cincy with Kelly's recruits. Way to get your facts straight. His last two seasons he has tied for the conference title.

Per Rivals:

2012: #50 (5th in Big East)
2011: #49 (3rd in Big East)
2010: #59 (3rd in Big East)

Currently for 2013, he's at #54 with an average star rating of 2.81. For his career at Cincy, he's under 3 stars per recruit.

I think you and I have different definitions of "great".

to those that think this is a terrible hire then you do not know football outside the SEC. He did not live off BK's recruits. go look at the classes CBJ brought in compared to kelley and who he was winning with at both stops.

If he brings back Tee martin and some other stud recruiters along with a top notch DC, all of which i believe he will, this is a Home run hire for UT. He needs to bring in a guy that can recruit virginia, north carolina, georgia, florida, and cali. He should be able to take care of Ohio and Tenn. if he locks down Tenn and takes about 8-10 players from there, 5 from georgia then he really only needs to pull in 2 kids from each of the above states that are big time recruits to have great classes.

Imo best hire so far in the SEC by far. Congrats UT.

Too many ifs involved, they needed a sure thing. Not a bunch of ifs.

I think this all but assures that Fulmer will be the next AD at UT

Which ensures more failure. I really hope Blackburn is the guy.
