Anyone else's expectations down to just bailing enough water to keep the ship afloat?

Why wouldn't O keep one of the best dline coaches of all time? The NCAA is allowing Austin Thomas to go out and recruit in his place so it a win-win for LSU

I thought it was already announced that he would be back for another year.

do we really think they're giving him a waiver for the entire year next year?

that just seems a bit absurd and i can't believe that it would last b/c it will be abused

It is 100% certain that O will keep Pete on the payroll as long as he wants to be. It may not be as DL coach, but he will be part of O's support group. BTW, I know nothing but what I read and interpret.

He wants to be here so I would say there's a good chance he stays

Just from what I have read he is a great coach.

But I seriously think no one has the balls to fire him.

Maybe because he's too old to recruit and nobody in high school gives a shite what he did in the 1950's.

No way ncaa let's austin recruit for Pete in 2017. He was made the permanent dl coach which is much different than a few months ago

I expect him to have a role, but not as the Dline coach. He'll be a consultant or support staff.

Pete was good to O on his way up so O is getting him a payday. I doubt he has anything to do with the defense. Relax

100% he stays, no recruiting responsibility. Pete Jenkins is one of, if not the best DL coach ever. Huge for LSU and O for having him on staff.
