Y'all have no shot at Enos unless you hire him as HC.

He has a non compete clause to all SEC schools as OC.

Alleva tells Miles to hire an OC and if he meddles with the OC, he will be fired on the spot. Hire Kendal Briles as OC. Venables DC with Orgeron DL coach. Frank recruiting coordinator. BDP can be Frank's assistant, as long as he stays away from coaching anything. Joe Robinson Special Teams. Jabbar Juluke somewhere on the staff. Ron Cooper comes to help Raymond with DB's. National Championships will pile up.

I wish it was that easy!

You guys had better prepare yourselves. If Miles does stay, no big name OC is coming to an unstable situation. They will promote Frank Wilson to make sure he stays and to stabilize recruiting.

Honestly, if we hired an offensive minded coach, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson remain on the new staff. He and either O or Raymond are important for holding this class together.

I would be very worried if Frank was the OC

Jeff Brohm....he would be great. Has a package that pays him around $1m as HC of WKU.....only question is a $500K pay bump to be OC in SEC is a career move that he thinks is good enough to parlay back into a HC position at a bigger school in a few years. I think, YES.....imagine our offense under this guy and the type of QB play we could have

I could get on board with Brohm.

It'll be Wilson. Nobody is going to want to come on board. Its obvious who runs the offense.

Like it'll make a lick of difference if they change OCs again?

All I can say is, prepare to be worried. Alleva isn't going to pile on another potential buyout. They will get a QB coach and Special Teams/Defense guy on the cheap, and they will be it.

I'm telling you, even if Miles stays, it's going to be like last year with the DC search. Alleva is going to give him a shoestring budget so that, whether he retires or is fired, the process is cheaper and easier next year.

I don't see Miles keeping his hands off of the offense. :(

I don't see him keeping his hands off either. He knows he is coaching for his job so I think he stays with Cam unless Alleva says no. I think the only chance for Miles to win next year is with Cam and a new DC. No other OC will come here under this situation and Cam knows the players. Miles will have to rely on Harris progressing enough, like Mett did, so that they can run the offense like it's meant to be. *Mett's senior year*.

Defense is another story. Hopefully he promotes Coach O and gets rid of BDP because I will never be convinced that Peveto doesn't have a huge hand in the Defensive gameplan.

You mean Don Coryell, and even he would fail if he wasn't given full control of the offense.

Yes I did. Mistyped. Thank you.

And that was exactly my point.

At this point, frick it. Peyton Manning. He's always said he wanted to coach someday anyway, and who else are we going to get for a year? If he can't fix the quarterback situation, no one can. It'll either go down in flames or be a brilliant hire.

Toss some money at him and see what happens, I'd be interested to see it. He'd 've coming home (close to N.O.) and an OC job straight out of the pros? Why wouldn't he jump at it if he really wanted to coach one day. As far as him doing the job, he was basically OC in Indy, so why not?
