Jerry tillery wants les miles to replace brian kelly as notre dame head coach. That would fit les miles perfectly.

Les could win there. He'd probably move Tillery to OT though

What a lazy article. How do you not include that Tillery is from LA and passed up an opportunity to play for Miles?

Wow, would love to see Les Miles as Notre Dame head coach. I think could definitely win there.

Les at ND just makes too much sense. He would do great there.

Whoever LSUs coach is next year would have to fight Les tooth and nail for a ton of LA prospects

Les Miles is a rock star man. He's one of about 10 college coaches faces that when you see it you know the name. He would win and recruit very well at Notre Dame

What makes you guys think he would do great at ND? Didn't you fire him because the game has passed him by?

Yes, so they can be fathered for no money rather than be coached up for millions.

He'd be gone in 5 years.

It's harder to recruit to nd. Not as many NFL studs to bail him out of dumb decisions. I don't think people realize how good les had it at lsu. He had everything a coach could ask for.

A current player calling for his coach to be fired?!

Wow.

He's a great recruiter with deep Louisiana ties now, and he would put together a deep recruiting staff that would be poaching from all across the south

A fun little bonus is ND has a decent following in LA. Them Catholics down here love them some golden domers. Les would be able to get his foot in the door and that's all he needs.

Man...I hope Notre Dame hires Les Miles, not because I believe he is a good coach, but because I don't like Notre Dame.

This is an article about tweets Tillery has "liked" on Twitter

Tillery hasn't said anything

No, no, and no! Les Miles will not be able to pull Louisiana kids away from LSU. Les' schtick worked well for Louisiana kids because he coached at LSU. Trust me when I say the high school coaches in Louisiana will not be advising their kids to follow Les.

And why does anyone think that Les would succeed at Notre Dame? We just fired his Bo Schembechler 1970s mindset. He won at LSU because he came in at the perfect time. He had the best recruiting foundation in the country when he arrived, and his bosses paid his assistant coaching staff the most money in the country. When Nick returned to Alabama that changed, and so did Les Miles win %.
