Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter could be held back by his name, believe it or not, in this crazy corporate league as I talk to more execs about him.

They're scared his name would cause issues, yet they're creating issues over his name.

Corporate Beauracracy.

they should be required to interview one coach with a retarded name before they can hire someone with a normal name.

I bet the Saints would hire him. Matter of fact, I could see them hiring him.

Interesting that his funny name would be the thing to give teams pause, and not this:

quote:

In 2009, Cooter was charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly getting into bed with a woman after climbing into the window of her apartment and stripping down to his underwear. The woman called the police, who arrested Cooter, and he was released on a $10,000 bond the next day.

Shouldn't be a problem in a place like Jacksonville.

Wish those executives that would disqualify someone because of their name would be made public. I'm fairly confident that they're executives of horrible teams.
