...the feeling in the profession is that Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst seems to have a very short list – perhaps with only one name on it. Sources have told me he isn’t taking calls from coaches trying to get themselves involved. He doesn’t appear to be building a list. He sounds like he is locked in.

I actually think he'd be a good college coach.

They need a recruiter first and foremost.

So do I. Dude would kill it as a recruiter, players love playing for him, and he'd have fun trying to stategize ways to counter college spread offenses.

Dude will be a studio analyst next year making big coin from someone, but I do think he'd be an intriguing college HC choice if interested.

Must be Sean Payton.

My cousins ex girlfriends great aunt lives in Nebraska and she said one night working at Burger King, Sean Payton walks in with his kids wearing a Nebraska hat eating corn on the cob. She also says that Payton and the Nebraska AD are buddies

The fact that Foley apparently hasn't reached an agreement with McElwain makes me wonder if Mc and his agent are entertaining offers from Nebraska and/or Michigan.

Followed a link just now on my twitter feed to their 247 board and the fans in that thread have talked themselves in to it being Mullen.
